Gone Astray

Gone Astray is a collaborative project with artist Kelly Tan that aims to raise awareness about the mistreatment of cats in Singapore. As an integral part of Singapore's landscape, cats are often viewed as pests or nuisances, and their welfare is often overlooked.

Through this project, we aim to humanise the social position of cats and encourage more empathy and respect toward them. The project includes a touching memorial that uses the familiar sight of a funeral to remember the countless stray cats that have been victimised and lost. This serves as a reminder that Singapore's progressiveness should extend to all living beings, including animals.

To gather public support for our cause, we asked Singaporeans to share their thoughts on how we can ensure that cats continue to have a place in our society. Their responses were overwhelmingly positive and highlighted the importance of treating these animals with kindness and compassion.

Join us in our mission to create a more inclusive society for all beings, big or small. Together, we can create a brighter future for Singapore's stray cats.
